Cinco Banderas Update
Capitol Area North Churches have raised over $4,000 dollars to help with renovations to replace older rooms with new living space for an additional 12 students.
Cinco Banderas is a home that provides living space for college students from a variety of settings who come to Monterrey, Mexico to study. These students study subjects from Law, medicine, architecture, accounting, and management. Some study technical fields such as refrigeration, electricity, and mechanics.
The name, Cinco Banderas, was chosen to represent the 4 countries that founded the home; the USA, Sweden, Norway, and Mexico, with the fifth flag representing Jesus the Christ. This project was adoped by Capitol Area North during the 2009 Annual Conference.
